Srinagar, Dal Lake and Shalimar Garden Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 : Srinagar Arrival And Local Sightseeing

You will start your Kashmir trip when you arrive at the Srinagar International Airport. Our driver will be ready to pick you up with your name placard. He will assist you with loading the baggage into the car. Now, after leaving the airport, you can either check in at your hotel or go for local sightseeing. Local sightseeing will include Mughal gardens like Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Botanical Garden, Chasm-e-Shahe, and Pari Mahal. After this, you can also do the famous Shikara ride in the Dal lake. In Dal Lake, you can buy saffron, fruit chat, and Kashmiri Kehwa or Nun Chai (salt-tea). At the end of the day, our driver will drop you off at your hotel for the night.

Day 2

Day 2 : Srinagar to Doodhpathri Day Tour

We will drive from Srinagar to Doodhpathri on the second day of your Kashmir tour itinerary.Doodhpathri is a hill station in Kashmir that is popular with tourists due to the presence of the Greater Himalayan Mountain Range in India. Doodhpathri, also known as the “Valley of Milk,” is a popular tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir. You will enjoy the day there and come back to Srinagar Hotel at night.

Day 3

Day 3 : Srinagar to Sonmarg Stay

We will drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg on the Fourth day of your Kashmir tour itinerary. We will need about two hours to travel the 80 kilometers there from Srinagar. Sonmarg is a famous hill station in Kashmir. Sonmarg is a place where you can find snowy glaciers and a beautiful river that flows along the road. You can go water rafting or go for a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier. Tourists visit Thajiwas Glacier to enjoy its beautiful views, build snowmen, and enjoy a sledding ride. You can also have breakfast or snacks at the Sonmarg Main market. On this day we are going to have stay at Sonmarg.

Day 4

Day 4 : Sonmarg Seightseeing & Srinagar Return.

On the Fourth day, You are going to wake up at Sonmarg Hotel and on this day we are going to explore places like Baltal, Zero Point and Zojila Pass. You can have full day of adventure and then come back to Srinagar. On this day we are going to Stay in our Hotel in Srinagar.

Day 5

Day 5 : Srinagar to Gulmarg Stay

We will drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg on the Fifth day of your Kashmir tour itinerary. It’s 52 km from Srinagar and will take us about 2 hours to get there. Gulmarg is famous for its thrilling activities and natural beauty. After reaching Gulmarg, we can do the local sightseeing. If your Kashmir tour package includes a Gondola ride, then we will go for that first. Gulmarg’s Gondola is a two-stage cable car and is the second longest and highest cable car in the world. There are plenty of snow related activities available to you if you visit during the winter, including skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. In the summer, you can do ATV rides and pony rides. On this day we are going to have stay at Gulmarg.

Day 6

Day 6 : Gulmarg to Pahalgam Stay

On the Sixth day of your Kashmir tour itinerary, we will take a road trip from Gulmarg to Pahalgam. It will take us approximately 3 hours to reach and is 130 kilometres from Gulmarg. Pahalgam is a beautiful hill station, and here you can see the Lidder River flowing through amazing meadows. If you’re looking for activities, you can do hiking, go on a pony ride to beautiful places like Mini-Switzerland, Baisaran, Pahalgam Valley, and Waterfall, or you can also try water rafting on the river. You can also go for a walk with your partner at sunset. On this day we are going to have stay at Pahalgam.

Day 7

Day 7 : PahalgamSeightseeing & Srinagar Return.

On the seventh day of your Kashmir tour itinerary, you are going to come back from Pahalgam to Srinagar, and local Sightseeing Mughal gardens etc

Day 8

Day 8 : Srinagar Return & Departure

Breakfast at your Srinagar, depending on when you need to depart or catch your flight. Take one final look at Dal Lake or the Mughal Gardens. If you have extra time before your flight, consider doing some last-minute shopping at a nearby market. Pashmina shawls, Kashmiri carpets, and handicrafts made by regional artists are for sale. To ensure that our driver drops you off at Srinagar Airport, please arrive at least two hours before your flight. Enjoy your travels!

 No vehicle is allowed to pick up guest inside railway station / Airport in JAMMU hence our driver will coordinate with you for the same.
 No vehicle is allowed to visit Aru, Chandan Wari & Bee tab Valley in Pahal gam except local taxies.
 Our cab will remain with you throughout the whole tour.
 Booking shall be released if advance payment was not received on or before cutoff dates provided.
 On time of booking confirmation, you have to pay 25 % of total invoice amount to guarantee your booking then remaining balance on the day of arrival to continue further services failing which service could be discontinued.
 In case of premium properties, you have to make 50% of the total invoice amount to hold your booking and remaining balance 10 days before the date of arrival to reconfirm all services.
 Any complaint regarding any hotel or its service shall not be entertained after check out from the said hotel/houseboat. Hence you are requested to immediately contact your concerned person for the same.
 Dates mentioned above are tentative. Your booking shall be processed as per your desire dates.
 Clients may find rooms little smaller than Srinagar. In Gulmarg, Pahal gam and Son Marg hotels have smaller rooms the Srinagar. In order to efficiently combat the cold temperatures and ensure the comfort and warmth of our guests, hotels in these regions have designed their rooms to be more compact. Smaller rooms are easier to heat, helping to maintain a cozy and comfortable atmosphere inside the room, even when the outside temperatures are extremely low. Hence please brief the clients accordingly.
